The new innovation center brings experts together. In collaboration with LAB University of Applied Sciences, we offer a Food Pilot Plant development environment and multidisciplinary experts to support the development of bakery businesses. We help our customers increase market share through innovations and bring new successful products to the market.
Over the years, we have developed numerous new products with our customers, from gluten-free to vegan and from oat to artisan breads. Now, with the Food Pilot Plant, we have an even wider network of experts to support innovations.

Test bakery and product development - FAQ
The test bakery work begins with defined targets or requests to develop new recipes and products for specified market conditions. Usually, the client may request us for to develop recipes for either a very specific purpose, such as a range of products developed for a given market or the request may start from market research and identifying the potential. In the product development process our baker makes the pre-planning where after the recipes are tried out, adjusted and fine-tuned to become the final approved recipes. Clients are often invited to visit or take part during the development or when the recipe is ready so that they will get first-hand knowledge how to bake the recipe.
We have staff constantly working with different projects across the globe, and this puts us in a strong position to have fresh and interesting ideas for good recipes. The client does not need spend their time planning and trying out recipes, but instead get ready recipes that can be straight away implemented in their bakeries. As a good example is our work with the Russian company Foodcode to whom we developed 7 new gluten free recipes and the rest is a success as they are today the number 1 gluten free bread producer in Russia.
We define the task and give customer a project plan together with a budget and time table.
