Malviala Oy and Baron Foodtech Collaborate on a New Bakery Project
Malviala Oy and Baron Foodtech are joining forces to build a new bakery to replace the Töysäläinen bakery, which was destroyed in a fire.
Malviala Oy has chosen Baron Foodtech as its partner to be part of the project team for designing a new bakery. Additionally, Baron Foodtech’s experts will provide customized tools and networks for industrial bakeries to the project team. A new production facility is planned to replace the Töysäläinen bakery, which was destroyed in a fire earlier this year, to ensure that operations can continue as before.
“This project is right in our core area of expertise. Tools developed to meet real needs in economic simulation, process calculation, and production modeling bring confidence to the work and, in the big picture, reduce workload and thus the time spent on it. The project is crowned by the pleasant people with whom working is rewarding,” says Mikko Lehtinen, CEO of Baron Foodtech.
Unique Bakery Project in Finland: Construction of a New Facility Led by Baron Foodtech
“After the disaster that occurred in the beginning of January, it was essential to act quickly and systematically. We formed an expert group together with Elonen’s skilled professionals and began reconstruction. We set goals and created a plan together with Baron Foodtech. The Phoenix project was launched.
Replacing the 10,000 m² and seven production lines facility that burned to the ground with a new entity is very unique even on a Finnish scale and requires real expertise and skill to complete the process quickly. Baron Foodtech is responsible for equipment procurement, and the rest of us experts complete the whole. Bringing a project of this scale to completion with a large work team and within a tight schedule is only possible through good leadership and expertise,” says Jari Elonen, Chairman of the Board of Elonen Oy.
